<Section title="Supplier due diligence, every renewal checked before your panel" subtitle="Each supplier measured against your policy and its recent public news.">
**You hand over:** "Review every carrier up for renewal this quarter against our supplier policy, for the supplier panel
  on November 19."

**How the Task splits it:** one branch per supplier, and inside it one branch per check in your supplier policy. Each
check compares the documents the supplier sent with the policy in your [Library](https://duale.ai/en/product/libraries.md). Web research
in [Tools](https://duale.ai/en/product/tools.md) finds recent public news on the supplier.

**You get back:** one review file per supplier, each check marked passed, missing or to clarify, with its source. The
panel gets a summary of the suppliers that need action.

**Illustrative example: the review file for Kestrel Haulage, a fictional road freight carrier.**

  | Item | Finding | Status | Source |
  | ---------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Quality certificate | ISO 9001 certificate valid until March 2027, as your policy requires | Passed | Kestrel quality certificate, page 1 |
  | Insurance certificate | Liability cover of €2 million; your policy requires €5 million for carriers | To clarify | Kestrel insurance certificate, page 2; your supplier policy, section 4 |
  | Latest annual accounts | The documents received stop at the 2024 accounts; your policy requires the last full financial year | Missing | Documents received from Kestrel |
  | Recent public news | A trade press article reports the closure of one of its depots | To clarify | Trade press article dated September 29, 2026 |

**Your team decides:** approve, request documents or replace. For Kestrel, it asks for the 2025 accounts and higher
liability cover, and checks what the depot closure means for your routes.

<Section title="Supplier invoice matching, every invoice checked before the payment run" subtitle="Matched invoices come back ready for your ERP, and your team starts from the exceptions.">
**You hand over:** "Check this week's supplier invoices against their orders and delivery notes, and prepare the matched
ones for the ERP before Friday's payment run."

**How the Task splits it:** one branch per invoice. It first extracts the fields your ERP needs, whatever the
supplier's layout. [Model routing](https://duale.ai/en/product/model-routing.md) picks a model that fits the document. The branch then
matches the invoice with its order and delivery note, which your own code reads from your ERP.

**You get back:** one record per matched invoice, ready for your ERP, and a list of exceptions for your team.

**Illustrative example: this week's supplier invoices.**

  | Supplier | Invoice | Amount excl. VAT | Order | Result |
  | -------------------- | ------------ | ---------------- | -------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
  | Aspen Packaging | AP-2026-0412 | €4,180.00 | PO-88213 | Matches the order and the delivery note; ready for your ERP |
  | Brisk Freight | 77-10931 | €1,265.50 | PO-88207 | Matches the order and the delivery note; ready for your ERP |
  | Cobalt Tooling | INV-5530 | €9,742.00 | — | Exception: the invoice carries no order number |
  | Dune Office Supplies | 2026/1187 | €612.30 | PO-88231 | Exception: order PO-88231 says €570.00 excl. VAT |

**Your team decides:** each exception. Your own code writes the matched records into your ERP.
</Section>

<Section title="Supplier bid comparison, every bid on the same three-year cost basis" subtitle="One comparison table, with each gap quoted from the bid and the points to clarify.">
**You hand over:** "Compare the bids for cleaning our three warehouses against our specification and award criteria, for
  Tuesday's sourcing committee."

**How the Task splits it:** one branch per bid reads it against your specification and award criteria, kept in a
Library. Code execution in Tools calculates every bid's three-year cost the same way, from its price schedule. The
branches converge into one comparison table.

**You get back:** one row per bidder, with the requirements met, each gap quoted from the bid, the calculated three-year
cost and the points to clarify.

**Illustrative example: the bids from three fictional cleaning companies.**

  | Bidder | Requirements | Gap (quoted from the bid) | Three-year cost (calculated) | To clarify |
  | ------------------------ | ------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------- | ---------------------- |
  | Linnet Cleaning | All met | — | €418,200 | — |
  | Plover Facility Services | One gap | "Weekend service on request, at the hourly rate in Annex B." Your specification includes weekend service in the price | €396,500, without weekend service | The weekend price |
  | Siskin Services | One gap | "Prices are revised each January in line with our costs." Your award criteria require indexation to a published index | €402,900 at year-one prices | The indexation formula |

**Your team decides:** the shortlist, the questions for each bidder and the award.

## Questions from procurement teams

### Can supplier reviews include checks from data providers we already use

Yes. A provider such as your credit-rating or sanctions-screening service adds one more line to each review file,
with its status and source. [See how Tools connect your systems](https://duale.ai/en/product/tools.md).

### Do IT suppliers face checks that carriers do not

Yes. Every review applies the rules your supplier policy sets for each kind of supplier, such as an
information-security certification for IT suppliers. [See how Libraries work](https://duale.ai/en/product/libraries.md).

### Can we upload files from a supplier we have not vetted yet

Yes, just as you received them. Duale AI checks every file for malware before any agent can read it. [See how
Libraries check each file](https://duale.ai/en/product/libraries.md), or [read which checks run before a document is
readable](https://duale.ai/en/docs/libraries/security.md#what-duale-ai-checks-before-a-document-is-readable).

### Is the missing document checked once the supplier sends it

Yes. The review file comes back with that item checked against your policy, such as the 2025 accounts Kestrel still
owes you. [See how Libraries keep your documents](https://duale.ai/en/product/libraries.md).

### Can we limit who sees the competing bids

Yes. The bids stay in a Library that only your sourcing team and its agents can read. [See how Identity and access
separates teams](https://duale.ai/en/product/identity-and-access.md).
